1. Active Locations Detection:

In this process, the device injects a particular frequency signals from put on the air and getting follow through receivers this method is good for non-electromagnetic fields.

2. Passive Location Detection:

This method involves many processes including the one through the detection of an electromagnetic field. This method has been considered a very effective one because it helps in finding the electromagnetic field easily. There are many underground cables that do not need to be energized and that is why they can be easily located through the detection of electromagnetic fields. When talking about the non energized cables, that process can be a tough one because it is located through the scanning of signals by a radio transmitter.

Most of the detectors have two devices one in the transmitter which is capable of transmitting signals and another one is a receiver which receives an incoming response from transmitters and we can check their signal output stream in receivers screens. In detector, we can change their frequencies. In most of the advance device also provides their GPS track facilities to reach at inspected area easily, and also provides the sensitivity or other issues in the deep locating pipes as well.

In most of the countries like in Asian countries where cables are still placed outside the ground which causes different types of accidents like power failure issue as well as power breakdown issues in towns as a result sometimes people death occurs as well as in heavy storm or in heavy raining in which power break down problems occur. The local government in these countries want to replace their cabling process to underground cable to save their humanities and assets.
